Agreement and services
By using franchiseownership.com, Ownership Match, or Chat, you agree to these Terms with FRANCHISEOWNERSHIP LLC. We provide a free consulting, advisory, and franchise research service, including a brand-fit quiz. Matches rank brands for research purposes and are directional suggestions, not a promise of suitability or brand approval. Chat offers one-to-one support, with optional SMS if you opt in. We do not guarantee approval by any franchise brand.
No guarantees or professional advice
Nothing on this site is an earnings claim or a promise of income, profit, or success. We make no guarantees about franchise success, earnings, return on investment, availability, or the outcome of any application. Investment amounts shown are published requirements, not projections. Any FDD Item 19 information or financial performance representation shown is brand-reported, not verified by FRANCHISEOWNERSHIP LLC as a guarantee. Review each brand’s own Franchise Disclosure Document with counsel. Site content is informational and is not legal, tax, financial, or investment advice. Consult qualified professionals and conduct your own due diligence before making a decision.
Our role
Michael Blair and FRANCHISEOWNERSHIP LLC are not the franchisor of the brands discussed here. We do not offer franchise opportunities for sale as a franchisor. Franchise availability, qualifications, and terms are determined by the relevant brand and its disclosures.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information when using the quiz or Chat, and use the site only for lawful purposes. Do not impersonate others, interfere with the service, misuse its content, or submit abusive, unlawful, or misleading material. You are responsible for decisions you make based on your own research.
Chat and optional SMS
SMS is optional and available only after you initiate Chat, provide a US mobile number, and affirmatively opt in. Texts are one-to-one replies about your inquiry, not unsolicited marketing. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can use on-site Chat without opting into texts. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Intellectual property
The site and its original text, design, and software are owned by FRANCHISEOWNERSHIP LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the site for personal research; you may not copy, republish, or exploit its content commercially without permission. Third-party brand names belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimers and liability
We provide the site on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free information, or that any match will lead to a franchise opportunity. To the extent permitted by law, FRANCHISEOWNERSHIP LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold FRANCHISEOWNERSHIP LLC harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the site or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own wrongdoing.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms by posting a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
